In USB mode the unit is powered directly by your computer — no external battery required. Note: iOS devices connect via WiFi only (Apple does not support Bluetooth serial). Bracket Size

Includes the complete DSC System with receiver, encoders, brackets, cables, and battery cage. SkyHub2S is sold and shipped as a kit; some easy assembly is required. Shipped in about 2 weeks after the order.

SkyHub2S adds USB/Serial support, so wireless is no longer required to use a digital setting circle — just plug it in and observe. WiFi and Bluetooth are still fully supported whenever you want them.

New USB/Serial Support

Plug SkyHub2S directly into your Windows, Mac, or Linux computer with a USB cable — no wireless setup, no dropouts, and the host computer powers the unit so you don't need a battery pack. A built-in mode switch lets you disable wireless for clean, interference-free USB operation.

Simple Star Alignment

Point your scope to any star, touch the same star on Sky Safari to complete a one-star alignment. Then touch any target on screen and move your scope until the position mark meets the target — done! Optionally perform a two-star alignment at any time for better accuracy.

Revolutionary Encoders

High resolution 8192 PPR, extremely compact, and highly energy efficient ball bearing encoders. 80% more power efficient and only about 15% the size of a traditional encoder. Powered by a 5VDC USB battery bank — expect about 100 hours of operation from a 15,000mAh battery.

In case your device is not compatible, please try another device of a different model or brand. We honor a full refund if you need to return the system. Please determine compatibility before installing the system to your scope. The returned unit must be in original (sellable) condition. The MS Windows applications support is provided "AS IS". It works with Sky Safari on iPad/iPod/iTouch/iPhone via WiFi.
